Greetings, Friends of KIAC,
I am thrilled to have the privilege of writing this month’s Touchpoint email and taking this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Samantha, and I serve as the Development and Marketing Associate at Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center (KIAC). Since joining the KIAC team in December 2022, I have been continually amazed by the incredible work undertaken by my colleagues in supporting immigrant individuals and families in our community.
In my role, my primary focus is to share the remarkable work of KIAC with our dedicated supporters and raise awareness about the vital services we provide. To further expand our reach, I recently launched KIAC’s brand-new Instagram page! If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to follow us at @kitsapimmigrantassistance.kiac and stay connected with our inspiring stories.
As we look ahead, I’ll be spending the bulk of my time over the next few months preparing for KIAC’s upcoming dinner and auction, The Gathering: Building Community & Supporting Dreams. At KIAC, we firmly believe that dreams know no borders. Every day, we witness the incredible resilience and determination of our immigrant clients as they navigate unfamiliar landscapes, overcoming numerous challenges along the way. Through our work, we aspire to foster a sense of community in our region, supporting our clients as they take steps to achieve their dreams and establish new chapters in their lives.
I cordially invite you to join us at our upcoming auction on Saturday, September 9 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. This special event will serve as a celebration of the extraordinary journeys undertaken by our immigrant clients, highlighting their resilience and triumphs. With your participation and generous contributions, we at KIAC will continue to serve as a reliable resource hub for our clients, empowering them to forge their paths to success. Together, we can create a brighter future where dreams know no bounds, and the strength of our community lies in the diversity and unity of its members.
