With only three very part-time paid staff, the Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center (KIAC) depends almost entirely on the good hearts of our community partners and volunteers. We offer flexible volunteer opportunities to suit all interests. Our volunteers are a critical part of our success and are essential to our community. We will help you develop valuable life skills and relationships while you give back to your local community. Whether you are interested in coordinating events, working with our legal program, helping clients start a business or understand their tax responsibilities, helping with our new legal program, or helping with translations, there are always places for you to get involved!

Here are some possible ways you can get involved:

  • Marketing and Media: Do you love utilizing your artistic or writing skills? Work with us to help amplify our presence in the area through creative means!
  • Course and Workshop Instructors: If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and expertise with KIAC clients, whether it’s English, Spanish, civics, immigration law, starting a business, tax help or even something fun like knitting or cooking, contact us with your ideas!
  • Paralegal and Pro Bono Law: If you are an immigration lawyer or paralegal looking to donate your time and expertise, contact us regarding our present needs.

If you would like to volunteer please send us an email
